My first read of Riley Edwards was Free the first book in the Black Ops series and i absolutely fell in love with these characters of the 707 elite team. So much so i couldn't wait to get my hands on this next instalment and to find out more about Jasper and his demons. I wanted to see what type of woman could tame the cheeky manwhore himself. And i've got to say Emily was perfect for him.

Jasper is use to danger he's part of an elite undercover team. He can keep his cool in dangerous situations, but there is one danger that Jasper cannot face. That is opening his heart to anyone, his demons hold him back from developing feelings. Jasper has his rules when it comes to matters of the heart one week then he moves on.

But that all changes when he hears the sweetest voice.

Emily is an army widow and a mother to an adorable six year old. When she meets Jasper there is instant attraction and connection. But when he hears that Emily is a mother he bolts. Emily see's that he's hiding behind a mask but her son comes first and they come as a package. She chalks it up to could have been and his loss.

Jasper hasn't been able to get the raven head beauty out of his mind. Leaving him confused over the feelings he's having for a woman he's only met once. Six months on and a chance meeting with Jasper at the army bank that Emily works at. Turns into a robbery forces Jasper to face these feelings he's having. Especially when one of the robbers gets away, Jasper believes that Emily and her son could be in danger and takes it upon himself to protect her.

As Jasper and Emily's story developed my heart broke for them both. Both had demons that were crippling their emotions.

I really liked how Riley Edwards tied in Connor to the story it was beautifully written and showed the love her "husband" had for her and her son. Now that has got you intrigued hasn't it and so it should!! Am i going to divulge anymore..... hell no

With beautiful writing, Freeing Jasper is about love, loss, friendship, forgiveness and trust. Once I started it I didn't want to put it down and cannot wait to read more from this series and these strong, sexy, sweet men and the women who love them. This is an excellent series that will suck you in and captivate your heart.

Highly Recommended for Military Romance Lovers.
