Merger is the second book in the Takeover Duet and must be read in order Acquisition, first or you'll be lost. The first book does end with one hell of a cliffhanger and Chelle Bliss definitely left us hanging on the edge of our seats. We jump right back in with book two where we left off and she ties this story up in a beautiful way with Merger.
Although for me the biggest angst was at the beginning of this book. It's full to the brim from start to finish with emotion. With Lauren and Antonio navigating their way to HEA. With off the charts chemistry and connections throughout this book. Not just from Lauren and Antonio but the Forte family, you can't help but fall in love with each character. The love i felt for the Forte family left me hoping that they get their own stories told. Merger tied up a fantastic story with a great story line that flowed wonderfully.
