So i have popped my Kennedy Fox cherry and what an experience i have been missing out on!! 

This is the third duet in the Checkmate Series i didn't have a problem having started with This is Dangerous it just left me wanting to read the first two duet's which i most definitely will be doing.

Right from the start of this read there is so much tension between friends Kayla and Logan. Kayla has had it bad for Logan since the day they met, but Logan has always been a bit standoffish with some mixed signals. Keeping Kayla in the friend zone saying he's unavailable, but she doesn't give in to that. She's tried to break down his walls, knowing he is hiding something. What Kayla doesn't know is Logan actually feels the same way, he hates the thought of her being with someone else. But he is afraid to be with her because of his dark past.

"Falling in love with Kayla Sinclair would be reckless. Allowing her to Fall for me would be Dangerous."

I completely fell in love with Kayla and Logan the build up, the romance, the hot as sin coming together the story and the characters did it all for me. Their chemistry was amazing even with the push pull of their relationship I do love my angst! The story was set at a great pace and the secrets and mystery reveals came at the right times as not to drag the story out.

Yes there is a HUGE Cliffhanger but you probably would guess that with it being a Duet! Now i for one love a great cliffhanger if it just fizzled out at the end it wouldn't leave me desperately wanting the next read. The cliffhanger adds to the overall story and this one is a doozy never saw it coming and OMG i want the second the book.

So like i said cherry popped and i was left utterly satisfied!!
