So i am no longer a Stacey Marie Brown virgin!! And what a read i got for my first. I'll be honest i'm kicking myself, because i have been missing out on such great writing. Buried Alive was a gripping, heartfelt story that had it all, secrets, lies, love. It was darkness and light with Rhys & Hannah captivating my heart & mind.
Hannah left her past behind her nine years ago on a snowy mountain. But thing about our pasts that no matter how much we try to forget, ignore or move forward. Our past will always still be there. There's always something, some place or someone that will remind us of why you tried to leave it "Buried".
Rhys has spent years living in the shadow of his dead brother. Not only in the shadow of snowboarding but in his family's eyes too. Rhys even though he doubts himself is brilliant in his own right, but people just wont stop the comparisons. That just add's fuel to the fire and leads Rhys's emotions at times.
While i don't want to give to much away. I will say this was quite a rollercoaster of emotions for me. And i found myself loving this read the deeper i got into it. Stacey Marie Brown will definitely be an author i will be look for more.
