Fat:
/fat/
Adjective
1. (of a person or animal) having a large amount of excess flesh.

Hi. My name is Maggie, and I’m a fat person. No, I’m not a self-loathing, angry woman who thinks all skinny girls are the devil spawn of satan, thank you very much. What I am is a cubicle dwelling, shy girl with a healthy love for all things chocolate and deep fried. Yeah, I know, I should put down the brownie and pick up a celery stalk, but where is the fun in that? My best friend, Polly, assures me that the club we’re going to tonight is going to be loads of fun, but I’m not sure. Until I meet him.

Aq·ua·phob·ic
/aekwe fo bic/
Adjective
1. abnormally afraid of water

Yes, Yes. Laugh it up. A 30 year old, sexually Dominant male, who owns his own club, is scared of water. If you’d been through what I had as a child, you’d be fucking terrified of it too. I’ve always looked for Mrs. Right Now, preferring to fling myself from a moving airplane into the Atlantic than to think about settling down. Until she comes walking into Newcomers night at my club.

Chem·is·try
/keməstrē/
Noun
1. the complex emotional or psychological interaction between two people.

This is Jackson’s world, not mine, but he’s slowly dragging me under, introducing me to things I don’t fully understand, but want to learn. There is something between us. We can’t fight it. We’re both sinking.

"No matter what anyone says, I am a beautiful person inside and out."

This is my first read from Shannon Youngblood and when i read the blurb i was very interested. You don't see many books about big girls, curvy yes but not big. The way Maggie is described within this book i loved she felt real, i'm a big girl and would describe myself the same way so i felt an instant connection especially when she meet her Alpha Male that saw the beauty she held.
Each of the characters held their own and i enjoyed the vulnerable side to both the Dom and the Sub it made them more real as i feel everyone has vulnerability and fears. The coming together of these two was hot they had instant chemistry and i felt they were perfect for each other. The story line flowed well and the writing was excellent it kept me hooked till the end.
I only had one problem with this book and that was the ending it felt abrupt. I'm not going to spoil and give it away but there isn't a HEA and i felt it let down this read, But that's a personnel opinion as i like a HEA. I understand what Shannon was trying to show within the read with life isn't always with a HEA but i just wanted the big girl HEA as that's what i have and it can happen. Don't get me wrong this was still a great positive read for big girls hell for any girls with a lack of confidence, it's not how i expected the read to end!!
I would recommend both the read and author.
