Extra Innings is the second standalone book in An Infield Novel series. I absolutely devoured the first book Rounding Third and couldn't wait to get my hands on the next. So if is this is your first time seeing this series then i can Highly recommend both books.
This book is about Braxton (Brax) Brentwood and Ainsley Winslow. Brax spots Ainsley on a night out and is instantly drawn to her, she's different from other girls. Especially as he's not used to being knocked back this only makes her more intriguing to him. From this one night leads to a summer fling but at the end of summer Brax is left feeling unsure. As Ainsley is the one to call the end of it and he wanted more.

Ainsley knows Brax is the captain of the baseball team. And with that comes a lot of baggage namely other girls!! She also knows that when it comes to being drafted she'll be long gone. After being hurt in the past she decides that i summer fling will just have to be that. But when fate steps in bring these two back together. Brax decides he wants more he's just got to convince Ainsley he's worth the risk.
Michelle Lynn has hit another home run. Sexy banter with laugh out loud moments and undeniable chemistry. Made this a fantastic second chance romance. And i for one can't wait for more in this series.
