Watching Jude's cam show stirs desires Shawn's always denied...
Shawn is adrift. Recently graduated, he's stuck in a dead-end job that barely pays the bills. His girlfriend dumped him, his friends have moved on, and he's still in Plymouth going nowhere.
Jude is a student living in the same shared house. Out and proud, he's everything Shawn's been running from since he hit puberty. When Shawn discovers Jude works as a cam boy, he can't resist the urge to watch one of his shows. It makes Shawn want things that scare him, yet his fascination forces him to confront his attraction.
Keen to explore his bicurious side, Shawn suggests they do a show together. Jude agrees, and things get complicated and kinky fast. But Jude isn't looking to get involved with someone so deep in the closet. If Shawn's going to get what he wants, he needs to find the courage to stop hiding from himself and be honest about who he is.
Watching and Wanting is the forth book in the housemates series. It can be read as a standalone but this a great series so why not enjoy this book to its fullest and read the whole series as you'll get a feel for the other couples mentioned within this book.
Shawn if you have followed the series is the straight one of the housemates and has always push that point!! His girlfriend Beth has moved away for work and is moving forward with her life, while Shawn feels left behind. Their not connecting anymore and decide amicably that they will go their separates ways. This leads to a very grumpy Shawn, he see's the other housemates loved up in their relationships and he finds himself missing what they have not that he wants a boyfriend no not him, no way... But there is Jude he's pretty cool and Shawn finds himself scared and a little curious as to the way his mind wanders to him. His curiosity goes through the roof when he catches him doing what seems to be a online show!!
Jude supports his life and education by doing solo live shows twice a week on
BOYZ ON CAM
He's out and proud but doesn't openly discuss how he makes money. Not because he's ashamed but because he's not sure how others would react. He's often thought of his housemate Shawn but never acted on anything thinking he's straight but after that night Shawn caught him doing a show he can't stop thinking about him and begins to think He Doth Protest Too Much, Methinks.
After watching a couple of Jude's shows, Shawn may not be as straight as he seems. In fact, he is pretty sure he's bi. He comes up with a plan in joining Jude in front on the camera, in the guise of making some fast money, and seems like the perfect way to explore his bi-curiosity.
What we get then is a great feel good story of Shawn being comfortable with who he is yes he struggles sometimes but i honestly feel Jude was and is the Perfect person to help Shawn be comfortable and ultimately happy and thats all anyone of us wants.
