Oh the feels i got while reading Wicked Impulse!!! I've been a huge fan of Chelle's since i read the first book Throttle Me in her Men of Inked Series and have read every book since and just as i loved that Series I'm loving the Men of Alpha Private Investigations and this Series is getting better and better.
Bear and Fran were a couple made in heaven did it bother me that they were in there Fifty's hell no! They had life experiences to bring to their relationship both had, had trouble past's with some heartache. But age is just a number it's how you choose to live and act in life that will give that fight, want, zest what ever you want to call it and Bear and Fran had it by the bucket load. Fran the "Golden Girl" just needed that little extra push to bring her forward and Bear was just the right man for the job.
The way they connected was of the charts and i'm not just talking about the sex which by the way was!!!!!
It was the Banter between them, Fran was an absolute Diamond in this book from her Sassy Smart Mouth to the way she cared for the people in her life. And we all knew Bear was all Alpha but i loved reading about his softer side when he confided in Fran.
Chelle asked that Reviews be kept somewhat spoiler free and i totally agree because this is a must read and i could go on and tell you the in's and out's of this read but where would the fun be and believe me there is SOOOO MUCH FUN in this book.
I will say it's low on angst but High on Life and i loved every page! every word! right to the very end and what a ending we got!!!
Would i recommend??? that would be an outstanding YES! YES! YES!
