What do you do when the one you least expect to matter…
Ends up mattering the most?
Derek Pearson likes to think he’s an easygoing guy. Uncomplicated, upfront, and unapologetic with what he wants. His what you see is what you get attitude is on prominent display for anyone who cares to look, and his foul mouth is right there to back it up should you miss the point.
However, what you see isn’t always what you get, and only a select few have ever glimpsed the real man under the brash exterior.
Among them? Professor Jordan Devaney. Complicated, high-maintenance, and vibrant, he’s Derek’s opposite in every way. From the moment they saw each other, a love-hate relationship began.
But what happens when one person wants more?

Every war starts with a spark and ends in revolution.
Drew Forrester was the spark,
but his second-in-command is the REVolution.

Resolve of steel...
Stubborn will...
And a heart that refuses to give up.
It isn't just the drivers in this war.
The revolution is about more than just racing.
It's about shattering labels and taking risks.

His answer?
Both.

#REVIEW
Here's to the #Revolution & what a ride it's been, we were more & more intrigued with Trent & Drew throughout the Hashtag Series as individuals. Saw the struggles they both found in understanding how they were feeling for each other in #Junkie & over joyed when they became friends to lovers. Then were left heartbroken with the Cliffhanger!!! left screaming NOOOOO at my kindle.
So when #REV was released I couldn't wait to delve back in with two of my favourite boys & Cambria has delivered another 5 star book.

We pick up exactly were #Junkie finished with pain & heartache with Trent thinking he's doing the right thing by breaking up with Drew & saving him from a unhappy life. And Drew not having any of that. Go Drew!!
"You broke up with me. I DON'T break up with you."

Drew fights that first night for Trent forcing the issue, the scene's this creates are some of the most beautiful & heartbreaking parts of the book "So what's it going to be, Trent?" "Are you going to protect my heart & the love it holds for you, or are you going to walk away?" and then the acceptance of #TREWLOVE I'm glad it wasn't left to the end of the book with a push & pull story & for me makes it a better read. "I can't say no to you," "Denying you anything would be like ripping out my own heart and abandoning it to the wolves."
The direction this book took is what makes it breathtaking & the depth and strength of their bond, their love & the level of protectiveness not just for each other but for the family & being each other’s strength.

The family unit of Romeo, Rimmel, Braeden, Ivy & cute little Nova really added to this book there were times I was laughing so hard. Braeden and Romeo are so freaking hilarious & I loved the whole family unit - the one they've made for themselves. It's really something special.
"Family takes care of family." "I'm not sure if there's anything that could make me turn my on family, but if there is , it ain't this."

I loved how Cambria made the story magical but yet very real. The way their love is perceived by people and the aftermath of their relationship on their lives was portrayed realistically. There's a couple of characters to hate and that deserve that hate (got very angry at my kindle), But they were supported by the people who mattered the most. They knew they would have a battle on their hands but that did not stop them from loving each other.

A side from the family characters there were some added bonuses in Joey making a reappearance & Lorhaven  I hope they get a book. But no one (other than Trent and Drew of course) stole my heart like Arrow did. Seriously he kind of melted my heart and we've just barely gotten to know him. But the feels! And then the giddiness I felt. I love him so much and really hope he gets his own book!!
Drew & Trent's relationship showed how love could over come anything & that indeed #LoveIsLove!! The exploring of their sexuality is very well written & shows in their chemistry & love. The sex scenes were hot and perfect and the added element of soul-deep love took them to a new height. I loved everything about this story.
I can honestly say there was nothing about this book I didn't love even the hateful parts ended with some beautiful words, even though I'm sad that Trent & Drew's story is at an end I'm happy & left fulfilled that their story has been told & What a journey it has been all that's left for them is to Drive, Love & Live.
"Hey, Forrester," he said.
"Yeah, frat boy?"
"I'm so glad my heart chose you."
I pulled his hand around and pressed my lips to the center of his palm. Not as glad as I am.
"I'll take care of it, T." I vowed.
I'd take better care of it than my own.
I't was the easiest promise I ever made.

Release Date: TBD
Cover Design: Romantic Book Affairs
Photography: Eric Battershell
Models: Burton Hughes & Tessi Conquest

Synopsis

“What he doesn't realize is the girl he remembers doesn't exist anymore.” –Lily
Goose calls her Little Bird. But the love of Lily’s life has no idea why the nickname describes her so perfectly. He doesn't know who she really is, and that their first meeting wasn't a happy twist of fate, but an elaborate plan that’s been years in the making.
But then lies do what they always do. They pile up, like feathers in her hands, and one by one they all fall.
As Road Captain for the Harbingers of Chaos Motorcycle Club, Goose is an expert at spotting potential danger from miles away. He’s also a living and breathing lie detector.
And yet…when a new little bird dances her way into his life, the vast threat she poses to his club slips right past his radar. He’s too distracted by the color of her lips, and her not so subtle curves, to see her for what she is.

A little lyrebird.
A ghost that’s haunted him for years.
And ultimately, his downfall.
“She says she’s not the girl I remember. I’m not so sure.”-Goose

Burning Ember (Harbingers Of Chaos, #1)

Cover Reveal & Excerpt: Until Harry by LA Casey

July 19th 2016

SYNOPSIS
He was my best friend, my best not-really-big-brother and my best protector. He was my best everything. He was mine.
Coming home is hard for Lane. Hard because Harry, her beloved uncle, has died suddenly, but also because of him. Kale.
Kale Hunt has been her best friend since childhood. But it was never that simple. He was Lane’s reason for leaving home and moving to New York. Seeing him with someone else, in love with someone else, shouldn’t have hurt. But it did. It really, really did. So she upped sticks and left, started a new life and cut herself off from her past.
But now she’s back and all the feelings are right there. As if she had never left.
Emotions are running high for everyone, and tragedy has a funny way of bringing people together. But is Lane reading the signs right? Are they still just friends, or is there something more?

EXCERPT:
I felt my eyes widen as his voice encircled me like a warm blanket. No matter how many years went by, I would know his voice even if it were a whisper. I slowly turned, but I froze when I saw him standing in the doorway of the parlour, leaning against the panel with his hands jammed into the front pockets of his jeans.
His eyes, my mind whispered. What’s wrong with his eyes?
There were many things that I loved about the man before me, but his eyes were by far my favourite. They were the first things I looked at whenever I saw him. There was always a mischievous glint in his whisky-coloured eyes that only I could see because I looked hard enough. It was a glint that told me his soul was alive and thriving, but what I saw now caused me to shiver.
There was no glint, gleam or light of any sort in his eyes. They were dead and reflected the clouded grey skies that often hung over York. They were as captivating as they were haunting.
Even though I moved thousands of miles away to escape him, every day for the past six years I woke up seeing those hazel eyes and fell asleep hearing that soothing voice. I couldn’t shake him whether I was half a world away or in the next room.
I lived and breathed Kale Hunt, and it was killing me.
“Kale,” I managed to whisper as I stared at the first man to ever break my heart.
He gazed at me then with no trace of emotion he robotically blinked and nodded in greeting. “Welcome home, Laney Baby.”
