Release Blitz & 5 ⭐️ Review ~ JOCK ROW by Sara Ney

Scarlett is always the sensible one: The sober driver. The planner. The one holding your hair back while you're worshiping the porcelain gods.

Week-after-week, she visits Jock Row with her friends—the universities hottest party scene and breeding ground for student athletes. And if keeping her friends out of trouble, and guys out of their pants, was a sport, she'd be the star athlete.

Being a well known jock-blocker gets her noticed for all the wrong reasons; just like that, she's banned from Jock Row. NO GUY WANTS A GIRL AROUND WHO KEEPS THEIR JOCK FRIENDS FROM GETTING LAID.

"Rowdy" Wade is the hot shot short-stop for the university's baseball team—and the unlucky bastard who drew the short straw: keep little Miss Goody Two-Shoes out of the Baseball House.

But week-after-week Scarlett returns, determined to get inside.

REVIEW

Jock Row was a freaking adorable slow burn read. Scarlett and Rowdy had amazing chemistry right from their first meeting. I just adored how their friendship built and blossomed into a beautiful relationship. With witty and sassy banter you just can't help but fall in love with both Rowdy and Scarlett.

Scarlett is attending a party at the baseball house on Jock Row with her "cleat-chasing" girlfriends. She’s not really interested in parties and doesn’t want to be there. But thats where her friends are going so she's tagging along. She soon starts to make a nuisance of herself. Calling out the boys chatting up her friends on their boasting and white lies.  Making fools of them with their tired pick-up lines, and in their eyes "cock blocking" them with their potential hook-ups!

As captain of the team Rowdy is the one his team mates turn to when there's a problem. So he gets the honour of escorting/kicking Scarlett out of the party. Refusing to leave her friends, she stays waiting on the porch. Causing Rowdy to play babysitter while she points out all the reasons she should be let back in. All to Rowdy's amusement and piquing his interest in this quirky girl.

After that first Friday both had been thinking of each other. So the next week when Scarlett’s friends return to the house for a party, she tags along again to see Rowdy… and the next week… and the next. And he’s always waiting for her on the porch.

Never allowing her into the house becomes a game they both secretly love. Because Scarlett and Rowdy just ‘click’ with their ease of banter. They tease, they laugh and they play silly games. Their evenings together on the porch quickly become the highlight of their week. And as their friendship develops, their attraction continues to grow.

Giving us an hilarious, smile a minute romantic read. The one thing i loved was this book was all about falling!! No angst just what could be described as real life romance. Boy meets Girl, then comes friendship then comes love then comes......... Life!

(Small note)

Loved this comment from Scarlett and sums up every book lover!!

“Nerd alert!” I tease, pointing a finger at myself, “I just bought a new book, and I’ve been waiting for it to release for nine months – nine! That’s a damn eternity in romance novel years. You’re lucky I dragged myself off the couch.”

Now that we can all relate too.....
