All The Pretty Girls

A Next Generation Novel

"All the Pretty Girls keeps you on the edge of your seat. Mystery and romance twisted together in one great book."

The road was long, it was painful, and it was raw. It has taken me four years to come to terms with my new reality. A life in which I live with the daily reminders of a vicious attack that has left me scarred both emotionally and physically. Years of recovery and acceptance were torn apart and obliterated the day Special Agent Nick Clark barges into my life. He says the person who attacked me and left me for dead is back. He says I was the first victim – the one who got away. He promises to protect me. But he can’t, no one can. Nick is relentless in his pursuit and promises me the things I can’t afford to have – like hope for a future with the sexy FBI agent. But hope and love and promises can’t protect me, not when I’m next on the killer's list. Meadow Holiday is the missing piece, the woman I’ve been searching for. And it has nothing to do with her being a witness in an unsolved serial killer case I’ve had sitting on my desk for the last four years. I had no business falling in love in the middle of a murder investigation but she’s the one. I feel it deep in my bones. I knew the first time I laid eyes on the shy, beautiful woman that she was mine. Now I'm left with the daunting task of convincing her I'm enough. Can Nick save Meadow in time and prove his love can heal all wounds, or is he already too late to fix what a sadist serial killer has broken? Fashion Couple, Dramatic image shot

REVIEW

This book is the first in the Next Generation series. It's a spinoff from Riley Edwards, Black Ops series. Don't worry if you haven't read that series this can be read as a standalone. But if like me you're a fan of that series. You will know that we meet Nick as a child in the final book getting a brief glimpse of him as an adult. I was so happy to know that Nick would be getting his own book.

Nick Clark is an FBI special agent he's transferred into the BAU (Behavioural Analysis Unit) The team is on a case investigating a serial killer that is targeting women. Four years on and the Killings have started up again. They are looking for new leads or something they have missed to catch this killer

Meadow Holiday is living her life in the shadows. After suffering an horrific attack years ago, left her physically scarred for life. She became a loner and kept people at a distance. Having only an online friendship with Veronica Mars, who she met through a survivors chat room. And a local coffee shop barista, Beckie to get her through the tough times. The coffee shop also has a perk and that comes in the form of Nick. She's never spoken to and only knows his name from it being called out for his order. She would before her attack tried to speak to him. But her feeling are... why would she even try when her face looks as it does.

Little does Meadow know but her and Nick's lives are about to cross. In a way neither of them saw coming.

All The Pretty Girls was an intriguing romance thriller. That gripped me from the first pages. Nick definitely lived up to his uncles in the Alpha oh my! I loved his care and devotion not only to Meadow but to all things he cares about. I liked that their relationship wasn't just straight to love because of storyline. A trust and friendship needed to be built up which gave this a more realistic feel to it. If your a fan of mystery and suspense with a great romance you'll love this. I can't wait for more in this series and i loved the little snippet we got of the men from the Black Ops series. If you haven't read that series i can highly recommend along with this one!!
