Every book i read from Shana Vanterpool has my heart in my mouth!! Mad Love is the first book in the Guns & Ink series and if this is how the series is going to go i really need to stock up on tissues!! Because this book with it's broken characters and the emotion Shana puts into her writing had me in tears!! My heart broke but not only for Madison and Klay but for Cat too and i can't wait to read her story.

Klayton is the owner of Guns & Ink. When Cat, his best friend, walks in one day asking for his help. He's taken aback when he looks up to his friend and see's a pretty but very broken girl with her. Not really having any choice in this matter, because Cat is a force to be reckoned with!! Klay agrees that Madison can stay.
Madison oh how my heart broke for her, she has suffered a diabolical trauma that left her broken. Being helped by Cat, Madison can't help but wonder if she'll ever feel safe again especially when she see's the brooding, tattooed man in front of her. But being out there is worse and there is something about Klay weather it's because he's intimidating but Madison can't help but feel that being there is safer that not. Their finding their way captivated me and i couldn't put it down it broke my heart but also restored my faith in that good can come from hitting rock bottom especially if you're lucky enough to find that one person that see's through all the darkness.

Mad Love is a dark emotion journey of two broken souls finding their own way to HEA through safety, trusting and falling in love with the broken pieces to build a future of their own. Highly recommended!!
Every book i read from Shana Vanterpool has my heart in my mouth!!
