Adriana Locke knows how to write a fantastic Family Series. First with the Landry family now with the Gibson men and can we give some appreciation to Nana. What a wonderful woman she is i just adore how she is with them. They are all strong alpha men but she is most definitely the matriarch of this family. The love and respect they show her, shows they are true men. 

Lance is a history teacher and a self confessed commitment phobe. He has a thing for his school’s sweet but sassy librarian Mariah, but feels he's not good enough for her. It will go nowhere because he can't give her what he thinks would be her conditions in a relationship. My heart broke for him at this point his view on how a relationship works due to being burned in the past was heartbreaking causing him to hold back.

He may hold back when it come to relationships but hooking up well it's on!! He has what he calls his app girls and there's one (Nerdy Nurse) who he's been messaging a lot. He's never had the chance to meet due to busy schedules or one always cancelling but he really likes the flirty, dirty, banter they so easily have with each other.

Mariah loves her job as a librarian but her personal life leaves her less than happy at times. To be fair she's had a pretty shitty up bringing with a mother i would quite happily slap! I can see why she really wants the HEA, she wants what she's never really had. Someone who love, cherish and support her but her finding this has turn out very well for her in the past. So.... she decides to take a chance and step out of the box but that kind of blows up in her face and brings real life and her made up one together. She knows if she lets Lance in it will end in heart break, but would it be worth it to experience love?

  

A sexy, sweet, hilarious and sometimes serious romance book. When everything collides will Lance and Mariah open up to each other and let love in or will fear forever hold them back. I loved this book, many times i laughed out loud at the banter and bickering. It broke my heart at other times and then had me swooning. 

Just beautiful as always and an absolute pleasure to read.
