Release Blitz & Review - Twenty-Two, Assassins #11.5 by Toni Aleo

When Lucas Brooks was traded to the Nashville Assassins over a decade ago, he was a brash, brawling hothead without an anchor.

Well, four kids and a smokin' hot wife will weigh you down real fast, but Lucas wouldn't change a minute of his happily ever after.

During an epic, end-of-season quest for the Cup, changes appear on the horizon, and suddenly, there's a plot twist in Lucas's fairy tale.

REVIEW

Wow oh the feels you get with this novella, I loved catching up with the Brook's family. The Assassins Series is a series of reads that always leave you with a smile on your face and love in your heart. I always enjoy when we get these little novella's catching up with our favourite characters. It's like coming home, giving you warmth and a loving feeling.

The Assassins are making their final push fighting for the cup. But Lucas is tired and feeling his age he's realising he's no spring chicken anymore. Yes he's still got game but its taking longer and longer for his body to recuperate. Knowing that one fatal injury could end his career. Does he carry on or does he think of the unthinkable. He's not ready to give up his spot on the team but he may not have a choice. With his kids getting bigger and Aiden on the way of starting his career he feels he's missing out. Decisions need to be made and ultimately his family will always come first!!

Toni has done it again! with this short, sweet and funny read. This novella is amazing, for fans of the assassin series this book is a must read. And if your looking for a fantastic sports romance this is a series you shouldn't miss out on.

My name is Toni Aleo and I’m a total dork.
I am a wife, mother of two and a bulldog, and also a hopeless romantic.
I am the biggest Shea Weber fan ever, and can be found during hockey season with my nose pressed against the Bridgestone Arena’s glass, watching my Nashville Predators play!
When my nose isn’t pressed against the glass, I enjoy going to my husband and son’s hockey games, my daughter’s dance competition, hanging with my best friends, taking pictures, scrapbooking, and reading the latest romance novel.
I have a slight Disney and Harry Potter obsession, I love things that sparkle, I love the color pink, I might have been a Disney Princess in a past life… probably Belle.
… and did I mention I love hockey?
