Zac never had a family of his own, but Rudy has enough to share.

Shy, inexperienced Rudy has a crush on Zac from the moment his new colleague walks through the door. On an office night out before Christmas, Rudy finds the courage to make a move, and they form a tentative bond. When he discovers Zac will be alone at Christmas, he invites Zac to come home with him.

Zac prefers to keep people at armís length. Yet when Rudy offers him a family Christmas itís impossible to resist. With no parents of his own, Zac is pleasantly surprised to be welcomed by Rudyís. The only drawback is that everyone assumes theyíre a couple. Unwilling to disappoint Rudyís mum and make Christmas awkward, they decide not to deny it.

It's not a chore for Zac to pose as Rudy's boyfriend, but the pretence makes him want things that scare him things like a real relationship with Rudy. Zac's suffered enough rejection in his life already and is afraid to risk his heart. If he can get over his past rejection and let Rudy inside his armour, he might get more for Christmas than he ever imagined.
Who doesn't love a great feel good Christmas read and Jay really brought it home with his A Family For Christmas story. I absolutely adored this read i know Jay has written a pretend boyfriends story before but it never feels the same and thats great writing.

Zach is the new guy at work that Rudy is crushing on but here's the thing Rudy's shy and inexperienced and Zach comes across as a bit standoffish. Wanting to talk and get to know Zach more Rudy jumps in feet first at Christmas office get together but Rudy jumping in feet first leads to him getting drunk on Tequila, making out with him then proceeding to be sick in front of him so Eventful it was!!

Even though Zach comes across as standoffish the care he showed in making sure Rudy gets home safely shows there is more to him it's just he doesn't like to let people in. When Zach struggles to get a taxi Rudy offers him a place to stay feeling bad for what has happen and he can't help himself jumping in feet first again when he discovers that Zach will be spending Christmas alone so and invites him to spend Christmas with his family!! Thinking he has blown any type of friendship with Zach his shocked but more than happy when Zach agrees to go.

What happens next is fun sweet story of more misunderstandings with Rudy's family assuming that they are a couple. A friendship that blooms into more with the Christmas spirit flowing. This part of the story had my heart glowing it's exactly how a family should be and that Zach got to experience a happy loving family touched my heart. Rudy's family made this book for me.

Jay Northcote never fail's with his sweet, heart warming stories and that's why i love his writing and have a happy giddy feeling each and every time he has a new book coming out. Thank You for Warming My Heart Cold British Day.

A family for Christmas is definitely a RECOMMENDED READ for the holidays! So get to it and have a very

Merry Christmas
