This is the first book that i have read from Melissa Foster and i will most certainly will be reading more. First off that cover i know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but hello have you seen this cover. Strong male holding a beautiful baby what more could pull you in. Then you read the Blurb and you can't help but want to dive right in. That's exactly what i did and absolutely loved it.
Tru Blue is a story of sacrifice, loyalty, family and love.
Truman Gritt comes from a broken family which instead of breaking him made him a protector, brother, friend, father who will stop at nothing and sacrifice everything for those he loves, even when he meets her.
Gemma has a beautiful wonderful soul who dreams are filled with love and a family. She runs a princess boutique where her days are filled with princess and princes fairy tales and happiness. But life often only shows us whats on the surface peoples pain and sadness is hidden till we reveal.
Both Truman and Gemma have secrets and their pasts are different both brought up in different walks of life. Both have one thing in common though mothers who care more for themselves than even their own child. The unlikeliest of people can often find strength with each other and thats what Truman and Gemma find strength to move forward strength to become a family.
This was a book i couldn't put down i enjoyed it, i loved the story it flowed beautifully. The love and protection Truman showed and the happiness they both found together was a wonderful story that happiness can be found even when you have come from the darkest of places.
I would recommend this book and i'm really looking forward to what comes next from the Whiskey family as i found their characters even though secondary in this read to be amusing and intriguing.
