Holy Moly what a read!!! I urge you, which seems a bit ridiculous seeing as i'm sat here writing a review. But please go in blind!! I'm really hoping that if you do read reviews that the ones you read are spoiler free. Because even though we knew there was going to be a cliffhanger, there is so much more to this story that i never saw coming!!!!!!
This story was so unexpected and Amy Daws completely kick it out of the park. With great writing and a spanktastic storyline.
Gareth has always come across as the silent, standoffish type. But he's always the one that people turn to as their strength. Weather it's in helping his sister or brothers or as the team captain he takes the responsibility on as his.
Which is why i loved that we got glimpses into his past. To show us why he is the way he is, and at times it was quite heartbreaking to read.
Sloan was such a strong character, going through a tough divorce. Navigating life as a working single mum wasn't easy. But she does it with strength and grace, when she's secretly screaming inside. Giving Gareth his perfect match balancing out each others needs.
I loved how this story played out, Gareth and Sloan gave us so much more depth within their story. Don't worry we still get the famous Amy Daws humour, just a whole lot more along side with it.
Now all thats left to say in this halftime is bring on Dominate and let me see how this story plays out! in the second half!!!
