REVIEW

Enforcer by Katana Collins is the third instalment in the Harrison Street Crew Series. To fully appreciate and enjoy this series you really need to read in order (Ex-Con part 1-3)  (Outlaw parts 1-3).  I have loved this series and i'm sad that this is to be the final book I want more!!

I didn't think anyone would be able to match Patrick (Outlaw) but Ryan did and boy did he!! Enforcer is my favourite read of this series. It really packed an emotional punch. Megan's history is heartbreaking she and her sister lived through a nightmare childhood with Megan hiding the worst of it from her sister.

Ryan will always put his brothers first so when one asks for his help he's there. What Ryan didn't expect was for that one day to change the course of his life and all it took was a single promise of revenge to a broken girl.

The connection between Ryan and Megan has been there since the day they meet. Ryan feels very protective of her but never allows his feeling to take over due to his respect of her father. Megan makes it more than obvious over the years that she wants Ryan but after one to many knock backs she draws a line to their relationship this just leads to more angst between these too.

Megan may have been broken but what i liked was that she came out fighting. She became a kick ass woman. Their was a lot of push and pull between them with undeniable chemistry.

Along with Megan and Ryan's story is the continuing plot that has played out through every book in this series hence this is why you must read in order. Of politician Remy, who is advocating cleaning up the area of the car gangs to get elected. What you start to learn is Remy is dirtier than these car gangs he wants to eradicate. With each book his and his associates!! dirty hands are working in the background to set up individual members of the HSC. This for me really added that something extra.

This series is like a cross between "Fast and the Furious" and "Son's of Anarchy" All members are the anti-hero type. Deep down they are good men who do bad things to help others. And i have loved every minute of it. **Warning**
There are triggers in this book with what Megan dealt with as a child.

REVIEW
This is my first time of reading from the author Katana Collins and i was lucky enough to be able to read all three parts together, which for me i preferred instead of one part at a time. Don't get me wrong it's not because each part wasn't as good as the other. I was just greedy and didn't want to wait for the next part so read all together. With that said i'm not going to give all the juice details of each book incase you're reading this on each part before buying!!

Ex-Con is told in a dual point of view of Shane and Charlie. Shane has been serving fours years in prison for killing a man (now four years doesn't seem long for murder but there is a reason). While in prison he is protected by a gang/crew he's tried to stay away from, but inside its survival that has him excepting help from the Harrison Street Crew. When he's on the out side he just wants to keep his head down and move forward with his life. But is life ever that simple!!

Charlie is a female mechanic trying to run her own business. She wants to be taken seriously within the car world. Its all she's ever loved since her grandfather introduced her into that world. She knows she more than good but like most men would they dismiss her because she's female. Not only is she a great mechanic but she a racer and feels this is the way she can earn the respect of drivers and get them into her garage.

Shane and Charlie's paths cross a few times and the chemistry is instant. I loved that Charlie is a kick ass girl strong and knows what she wants and fights for it. Shane has been dealt a shit hand but never let it drag him under. Both are trying to survive in the life they are living. Can they help each other find their way to a HEA well you need to get on these books and read to find out........
I would recommend reading all three parts together i just think it made for better reading. Katana Collins has intrigued me with her story and i'm looking forward to reading Outlaw the next in the series of the Harrison Street Crew.

REVIEW

Outlaw part 1 is the second 3 part book in The Harrison Street Crew series. I would recommend reading Ex-Con which again has three parts to it or you can purchase all 3 in one book. This would give you a better understanding of Michelle's back story, how she met Patrick and what is going on with the HSC.

We kick back off towards the end of Ex-con with Michelle the ADA working the Operation Green Light trying to bring down the street car gangs. Patrick who Michelle knows is the Vice President in the HSC, is charming, funny and Michelle can't help the attraction she feels for him. Even knowing nothing good can come from it. She try's her hardest to stay clear of him but a series of event's keeps putting the together.

Patrick is a lovable rogue, he doesn't apologise for who or what he stands for the HSC is his family and he will always do what's right by them. What he doesn't expect is how much he wants Michelle even if she is the Chief ADA! But it seems someone is out to set them both up and i can't wait to jump into part 2 to see where the next part goes.

Within this story we still get the continuation of Remy's corruption again this is why reading Ex-Con would be beneficial. Outlaw is told in a dual POV and part 1 does end on quite a big cliffhanger but the bonus in that is that we don't have to wait to long for the next part as that releases on the 14th March!!

The Harrison Street Crew Series may be about a street gang/crew but there is more to them that meets the eye.

So we've jumped right back into Outlaw and after that cliffhanger i was so ready to find out what had happened!!
So the story has really stepped up in this second instalment. With Patrick still trying to clear his name and as much as Michelle is the ADA she is the only one who can help him.

Michelle has tried to stay away from Patrick but its impossible to stay away from something you know deep down you want. We find out more about Michelle's family and lets say there really is a can of worms beginning to open up with them.

The story continues to be gritty, intriguing with intense moments and i'm still loving the playfulness between Patrick and Michelle. Looking forward to the concluding part to Outlaw.

We are back with part 3 of Outlaw after the cliffhanger we were left with at the end of part 2, i was glad we didn't have to wait long to carry on the story. Thats one of the things i enjoy about these books even though they have been divided into three parts Katana Collins doesn't have us hanging on waiting for the next part especially with such cliffhangers!!

With this concluding part to this book there was so much action. With the twists and turn of who is framing Patrick and after Michelle that i can honestly say i never guessed who it was so it made for a very intriguing read. I really have enjoyed the dynamic between Patrick and Michelle with their push pull relationship. Hearing about their past lives really gives you a great perspective of where and why they are in their lives.

There is still so much more to come from this series with the continuing story of bringing down the douchbag Remy and now we know there is a lot more at play than we originally thought!! Hoping its Megan and Ryan's book next and looking forward to carry on the series of The Harrison Street Crew.

Author Bio

When Katana Collins was younger and stole her mother’s Harlequins to read beneath the covers with a flashlight, she wanted to read about the tough as nails heroine. The perfectly imperfect girl with quirks and attitude and sass. And the anti-heroes who were anything but “Prince Charming.” Forget the knight on a white horse… she wanted the bad boy on a motorcycle.

So, now, she writes those romance novels she craved to see on the shelves all those years ago—the sassy heroines. The badass heroes. She penned her first romance novel back in 2012 and now, a few years later, she is an international author with 15 published books, in a wide range of contemporary romance genres–(Paranormal, New Adult, Small town, Erotic Suspense… you name it!).

She lives in Portland, Maine, with an ever-growing brood of rescue animals: a kind of mean cat, a very mellow chihuahua, and a very not mellow lab puppy... oh yeah, there's a husband somewhere in that mix, too. She can usually be found hunched over her laptop in a cafe, guzzling gallons of coffee, and wearing fabulous (albeit sometimes impractical) shoes.

She loves connecting with book lovers like herself, and fellow sassy storytellers, so feel free to drop her an email, visit her on her website: www.katanacollins.com Or connect on Instagram/Twitter (@katanacollins) or Facebook (www.facebook.com/katanacollins)!
