REVIEW
I'm not one that usually like's political romances but i really enjoyed this read. It wasn't over the top with the politics which i prefer especially as a British reader i don't understand how politics work over here at the best of times never mind in the USA. So i sometimes have a hard time connecting to the book. But not this one and that's down to Katie Ashley's style of writing i was able to follow and understand what was happen on the politics side of the book.
Although this hasn't been put in the Romantic Comedy Genre. I really did find parts of the book to be quite amusing, the things that happened to Addison were comical and the banter between Addison and Barrett was brilliant.
So what happens when your playboy behaviour is affecting your fathers chances of Presidency. Well you agree to the terms he sets out of having a fake engagement!!
How hard could it be?? Spend some time with a woman then when its over go back to your playboy way right, Right!
Addison is presented a life changing proposition pretend to be engaged to the senators son. She's just what they need to improve his lifestyle. She's hard working comes from a good wholesome background. Can she really do this? All she's got to do is remember is that this is a job and not to fall for the handsome man standing before her. Which when he opens his mouth she doesn't think there will be any problems with that!
Barrett was the typical playboy knowing he can get any woman. Even though he was hard working his image let him down. Addison was quirky, feisty and i loved her attitude. What she brought out in Barrett showed us his other side, and as much as they rubbed each other up the wrong way they were so right for each other.
This for me was a good fun read with a hea not one to missed.
